Description / Who Should Do it?

This course is specifically made for students who have completed their 12th Standard from any board or have completed Graduation from any board and are looking for a career in the Travel and Tourism industry. This course equips and qualifies the student with knowledge and prerequisite skill sets to succeed in the Travel & Tourism Industry. Once completed, the qualified students can work as Sales or Operations staff in any Travel Agency / Tour Operator / M.I.C.E. operators catering to Outbound Travel or Destination Representation Companies and can later on, even aim for supervisor / managerial positions of entire Sales and operations teams comprising Package, Ticketing, Visa departments.

Opportunity to go on a 4 Days below cost familiarization Trip to Thailand in Association with the Tourism Authority of Thailand. Spend 4 days to learn the practical aspect of an actual tour- like check in at airline counter / passing through security check point/ customs & immigrations, meet and assist at the airport, airport transfers, interaction with local guides, local sightseeing/ local cuisine, sightseeing, shopping idea. Practical demo of how tour managers work for MICE & group tours will also be a part of this trip and a few good hotel inspections, Indian restaurant Inspections and sightseeing inspections would be done of those places that are sold mostly in the Indian markets. At the end of the course, the students who would have successfully completed the full course would be given opportunities to work as an intern with travel companies for 2 months, in order to attain in depth practical knowledge and prove their capability for a long term secured job.
